Statement of Faith

1. Everyone is a sinner and has been born in sin. As a result of our sin, each of us deserves to spend eternity separated from God. There is nothing we can do to earn eternal life in heaven. No works, however righteous they may be, can save us from our eternal sentence to hell.

2. God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, Jesus Christ, to rescue us from our sin. Jesus came to earth in the form of a man, suffered, was crucified, buried and rose again after three days in the tomb. his death served as a ransom for our sin, freeing us from the punishment we deserve.

3. Anyone who realizes their wrongdoings, repents of their sins, and asks Jesus to become lord of their life will be forgiven and will receive the free gift of eternal life. Salvation is only attained through the grace of Jesus Christ who shed His blood for us.

4. God's inspired, inerrant Word is given to us through the Bible which is historical and infallible. God commands us to obey His Word as the final authority in our lives.

 5. There is one God who is revealed to us in three persons: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

6. The Lord Jesus Christ was born of a virgin and was the only man whom was perfect. After completing His redemptive work on earth, Jesus ascended to Heaven where He sits at the right hand of the Father ministering as our Great High Priest. Jesus is the only way to the Father.

7. One day Jesus will come again to rapture the church. At that time He will reign over the new earth.

8. The universe was originally created by God, out of noting. In six literal (24 hour) days, His spoken word gave life and form to the world.

9. During the resurrection of the righteous and sinners, a child of God who has been justified by the redemptive work of Christ has a secure place in eternity and will not face God's judgement.
